O Lord, who granted your son Jose Alvarez the gift of missionary life totally devoted to you and to the most needy, and with a profound love towards the Blessed Virgin Mary, your Mother; help us follow his model of fidelity and answer Your call to a consecrated life full of devotion to the forgotten and helpless. May his Cause for Canonization propel the blossoming of the Christian values of faith, prayer, and service.
